The Faraday Cup Award recognizes and encourages innovative achievements in the field of particle accelerator beam instrumentation. It is donated by Bergoz Instrumentation., of Saint Genis Pouilly, France, manufacturers of beam instrumentation for particle accelerators. The award consists of a US $5000 prize and a certificate, which are presented at the Beam Instrumentation Workshop (BIW), whose Program Committee is solely responsible for selection of the recipient.
