IBIC Prize

for lifetime achievement in charged particle beam instrumentation. The members of the IBIC Scientific Program Committee invite you to make a nomination for the 2026 prize which will be awarded at the IBIC conference in August.

The IBIC prize is awarded to a person who have contributed significantly to the advancement of the field of Charged Particle Beam Instrumentation. The prize is given for innovative approaches and creative problem-solving demonstrated in the candidate’s work, not merely incremental improvements. In addition, the Prize gives the international diagnostics community the opportunity to recognize one of its members for their outstanding achievements.

Nominations

Nominations should detail the outstanding achievements for which the nominated person should be recognized. The nominee should have 20 + years of experience and have presented or contributed to work presented at multiple IBIC conferences. A brief proposed citation should be part of the nomination letter.

Nominations and supporting letters for the prize should be sent or e-mailed to the chair of the IBIC Prize Jordan@jlab.org
